• tell you if I can't fix it. I won't pretend I can if I can't
• give you a price up front, and keep you informed if I uncover more problems as I go along
• turn up when I say I will, or call ahead if I am unavoidably delayed
• provide you with an invoice for work done, which details parts and prices
• provide you with sight of insurances and licences if you ask
• clean up after myself
